Drug Awareness Programme – International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed on 25 June 2026, the students of GRT College of Education actively participated in the Drug Awareness Programme organized at the District Collectorate. Demonstrating their creativity and social commitment, our students designed a magnificent large-scale Drug Awareness Rangoli, which earned special appreciation from the District Collector, Mrs. S. Kavitha, IAS, for its impactful message and artistic excellence. Adding further vibrancy to the programme, our students presented an energetic Thappattam performance that inspired participants and energized the awareness rally. Their enthusiastic participation, discipline and outstanding performances received wide appreciation, bringing pride and recognition to the institution while reinforcing the importance of creating a drug-free society.
