Key Functions of the Placement Cell
- School Partnerships: Our Placement Cell collaborates with leading schools, both private and public, to bring exclusive job opportunities to our students. These partnerships include high and higher secondary schools, international schools and specialized institutions.
- Teaching Internships: As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, students are provided with internship opportunities in schools, where they can gain valuable hands-on teaching experience, learn classroom management and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
- Pre-Placement Training: We offer personalized career coaching, interview preparation, resume writing assistance and teaching portfolio development. The goal is to ensure that our students are well-prepared to succeed in the competitive education sector.
- Workshops & Seminars: The Placement Cell organizes workshops, webinars and seminars on educational trends, teaching methodologies and career opportunities in education. We invite professionals and alumni to share their experiences and insights with our students.
- Career Counseling: We provide individual career counseling sessions to help students explore different teaching.
How the Placement Process Works
- Registration: All final-year B.Ed. students must register with the Placement Cell to be eligible for the placement process.
- Pre-Placement Orientation: Students participate in a comprehensive pre-placement training programme that includes teaching demonstrations mock interviews and CV building specifically tailored for education professionals.
Placement Statement
A total of 75 students were successfully placed in various schools through campus recruitment and external placement drives during the last academic year. The placed students received appointment orders from private matriculation schools, government-aided schools, CBSE schools, higher secondary schools and educational institutions. This achievement reflects the effective functioning of the Placement Cell and the strong support provided by faculty members.
