Objectives of the GRT COE Student Welfare Cell

  • To create a supportive and student-centric campus environment that promotes well-being and personal growth.
  • To foster compassion, empathy and healthy interpersonal relationships among students and staff.
  • To address student concerns related to academics, personal development and campus life in a timely and effective manner.
  • To encourage holistic development through guidance, mentoring and welfare initiatives.
  • To ensure equity, inclusion and a positive learning atmosphere for all students.
  • To nurture responsibility, leadership and social awareness among student-teachers.

Key Activities of the GRT COE Student Welfare Cell

  • Student Support and Guidance:
    Providing counselling, mentoring and academic support to address student needs.
  • Wellness and Mental Health Initiatives:
    Organizing sessions on stress management, mindfulness, emotional well-being and personal development.
  • Awareness Programmes and Workshops:
    Conducting programmes on life skills, communication, interpersonal relationships, and professional growth.
  • Feedback and Grievance Handling:
    Collecting student feedback and addressing grievances related to academics, infrastructure or campus life.
  • Mentoring and Peer Support:
    Facilitating peer mentoring, group discussions and peer-to-peer support networks.
  • Observation of Important Days:
    Celebrating Student Welfare Day, Mental Health Day and other relevant occasions through meaningful activities.
  • Community Building Activities:
    Organizing group activities, team-building exercises and student engagement initiatives to promote camaraderie.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintaining records of welfare activities, student participation and outcomes for continuous improvement.
