Key Activities of the Anti-Ragging Cell
- Awareness Programmes and Orientation Sessions:
Conducting awareness programmes for students on anti-ragging rules, penalties and institutional policies.
- Implementation of UGC Guidelines:
Ensuring compliance with UGC regulations through continuous monitoring and preventive measures.
- Anti-Ragging Undertakings:
Collecting anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents as per UGC norms.
- Monitoring and Surveillance:
Regular monitoring of the campus, especially during the admission period, to prevent ragging incidents.
- Grievance Redressal and Complaint Handling:
Receiving complaints through designated channels and taking prompt and appropriate action.
- Support to Victims:
Providing counselling, protection and necessary assistance to affected students.
- Coordination with Authorities:
Liaising with institutional authorities and, when required, external agencies to address serious cases.
- Documentation and Reporting:
